Privacy Policy

ApplyFlow is a job application tracker built to help job seekers organize their search. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What Data We Collect

When you create an account and use ApplyFlow, we collect:

• Full name and email address (via Google or GitHub OAuth)
• Profile information you provide: phone number, LinkedIn URL, GitHub URL, portfolio URL, current title, current company
• Job application data: company names, position titles, stages, notes, job URLs, salary info
• Resumes you upload
• Country and timezone (for display purposes)
• Interview schedules and contact information you add

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide the ApplyFlow service. This includes displaying your job application pipeline, powering the dashboard analytics, syncing data with the ApplyFlow Chrome extension, and enabling features like auto-fill and quick copy.

Chrome Extension

The ApplyFlow Chrome extension enhances your experience on job boards. Here is exactly what it does:

• Job data extraction: On supported job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever, and others), the extension reads the page content to extract the company name, position title, and location to pre-fill the save form. It does not read content on any other websites.
• Local storage: Your session and profile information are stored locally in Chrome storage to enable auto-fill on application forms. This data never leaves your browser except to communicate with the ApplyFlow server.
• No tracking: The extension does not track, collect, or transmit your browsing history, search queries, or any activity outside of supported job board pages.

Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means each user can only access their own data at the database level. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with encrypted tokens. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

What We Do NOT Do

• ✓We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
• ✓We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
• ✓We do not track your browsing history or activity outside of ApplyFlow.
• ✓We do not use analytics tools that identify individual users.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard. Once deleted, all your data — including applications, resumes, contacts, and profile information — is permanently removed from our servers.
